It is so much fun for me to share what I love, that’s why writing these Ali’s Obsessions posts each season totally lights me up. These are the products that I am obsessed with right now.
I no longer chew gum or eat packaged mints because I don’t know what most of the ingredients are, which freaks me out! I also stay away from artificial sweeteners, and it’s been so long I don’t enjoy the taste at all. That being said, I am human, and I occasionally need a breath freshener!! Enter doTerra Peppermint Beadlets into my life. They are tiny drops of pure therapeutic grade peppermint essential oil encased in a veggie case. These little balls burst in your mouth, giving you fresh breath, and kind of pepping you up. They aren’t for the faint as they are pretty strong, but I have turned everyone I know onto them! They rock!
breathe app on apple watch
I fought getting an apple watch for a long time. I didn’t want another thing beeping, and as you know I am trying to move away from technology, not aiming to bring more into my life. But….once I saw the Breathe app on the watch I was drooling! Once an hour it notifies me that it is time for a one minute meditation. The breathe app buzzes when I need to take a nice long breath in, and prompts me to breathe out too. I am addicted! It has upped my mindfulness and self-care game, and I love, love, love it. I don’t use the watch for email and lots of other notifications, I really use it for its mindfulness capabilities. It reminds me to stand if I’ve been sitting too long, it keeps track of my steps, and again helps me to breathe even more throughout the day.
I am a sucker for metallic. Bring it on, from leggings to eye shadow, I don’t shy away. The minute I laid my eyes on this journal it was love at first sight. I cannot wait to fill it up in 2017! Grab it here!
BeautyCounter nourishing rosewater mist
My winter skin has been a bit parched, and this rosewater spray does just the trick to make my face feel hydrated and refreshed. I now bring it on airplanes, and then keep it on my kitchen counter so I can give myself a quick spritz during the day. It smells divine, and makes me feel indulged 🙂
cinnamon bark essential oil
If you have followed me for a while, you know that I am a self-proclaimed “tea junkie!” My very favorite is chai, and I love it with cinnamon. The problem is, when you make tea with cinnamon spice it all sinks to the bottom, not matter how much you stir. I discovered that a drop of two of essential oil creates a cup where every single sip has an evenly disbursed amount of cinnamon, and it’s perfect. If you like tea, or oatmeal, or anything else with cinnamon, you must try it. Grab yours HERE.
