Since my computer crashed over the holidays I had a technology inflicted break from work. It was wonderful to unplug, and spend quality time with the fam. I used my time off to dream, plan, and soak up inspiration from the Universe. I had the best time choosing my Power Words for 2015, and I am excited to share them with you.
Abundant- I want to feel abundant in every way this year, in my relationships and work.
Loving and Loved- I want to be my most loving self, and for love to be my reference point for navigating life.
Present- I vowed to myself that I would be even more present this year, stepping away from my phone and unplugging more. I want to embrace all of life’s experiences and honor them by being fully present.
Joyous- I want to find the joy in everything big and small. I want to take the time to notice every smile, funny comment and giggle this year.
Healthy- I want to make the best choices for myself this year, and that includes a bedtime. I do best when I have a lights out rule at 10:30 during the week, and I need to honor myself enough to adhere to it. I wake up between 5:00 and 5:45 to meditate and I just need a little bit more rest at night.
Peaceful- As my mindfulness and meditation practice continues to deepen I look forward to accessing even more inner peace. I see so many changes in myself, and I can’t wait to see how much farther I come in 2015.
Guided- I know not everyone is on board with me when I say that we are guided by angels and spirits, if only we are willing to see the signs. I don’t ever push my beliefs on anyone, but they do bring me such joy and peace. I know that spirit will be holding my hand all year long.
Aware- I want to focus on being even more self-aware this year and fulfilling my needs, and equally as aware of those around me so that I can serve in the best ways possible.
As I write this there is one more word that comes to mind that I want to share which isn’t on my original list. Authenticity. I spent 2014 figuring out who I am, and I will spend 2015 embracing all of the wonderful gifts I bring to this world. My quirks, my idiosyncrasies, my sense of humor, my peace, my love, and inspiration are all parts of me that I plan on honoring and sharing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with me on this journey with me. I love you all!
