Just in case you need a gift for another like-minded zen junkie I wanted to share a few of my favorite things with you that make great gifts. I decided that instead of perfect pictures from the internet, I was going to share pictures of that actual products that I own, taken with my phone, so you can see them in all their glory! Even though the pics are not perfect (I am for sure a zen junkie and definitely not a photographer!), you will be able to tell how much I love each and every one of these items, and that I really do use them often.

I cannot get enough of my Lavande lavendar spray. I use it during every class, and my kids also love having it sprayed on their pillow before bed. They call it “magic sleep spray,” because it really helps them relax. I have bottles all over my house. If you order one as a gift, be sure to get an extra for yourself!!

Spiritual reading has become a treasured compliment to my morning meditation. Holy Shift by Robert Holden, and A Year of Miracles by Marianne Williamson are written with the intention that the reader enjoy one page a day. They make the perfect holiday gift because the recipient can start January 1st and read one page a day all year long. I adore both these books.

angel cards

I love pulling a card from this Angel card deck. Sometimes a little message from the Universe is all you really need.

wishes fulfilled

I was given this I Am Wishes Fulfilled Meditation CD as a gift, and I worship it. The beautiful sounds can lead you into the most delicious meditation. This is one of my favorite things that I have ever been given.

G-d box

I call this my God Box. It is a special box that was given to me by a dear friend. Since I am a big believer in asking the Universe for help and then surrendering, this is where I put the notes I write asking for that help. I usually do this when I am confused or unsure of how to handle a person or situation, and every time I write a note and put it in this box, within a day or two I absolutely just “know” what to do. You can have fun scouring cool stores or antique shops for boxes to give loved ones. I am sure they will treasure them always.

salt lamp

I put this salt lamp in my zen den a few weeks ago and I love it. Salt lamps help to cleanse the air, and they add such a beautiful glow to any room.

thieves oil

I have started learning about essential oils this year and incorporating them into my routines. This is my absolute favorite one and I love using it during a meditation. It smells of cinnamon and cloves, and all sorts of yummy stuff. Honestly, I would bathe in it if I could!

I love the multi-purposes uses of mala beads because the are an amazing item to incorporate into meditation, and they are so beautiful too. There are many, many beautiful malas out there, and finding the perfect one for someone can be a fun labor of love. I adore the ones from Blooming Lotus Jewelry. This amethyst one was a gift from two dear friends for my birthday last year.

And last but not least, everyone loves the awesome A to Zen apparel. There are lots of new styles in our shop section. Check them out here.

I hope you enjoyed learning about some of my favorite things that would make wonderful holiday gifts. Let me know in the comments if you have any favorite items or products of your own. I’d love to check them out!

What a great round up! I love the mala beads– the fact they’re beautiful and useful make them an amazing gift. And the idea behind your God box — this is something I could definitely incorporate! I’ve got a couple things on my mind right now that I’m not sure how to handle… Thanks so much! Elysha

I love all of these ideas! I definitely need the lavendar spray and the two books. Do you have any suggestion for what to sit on during meditation? I think some of the poufs are super cute but I don’t know if bolsters are better for posture. Sometimes my knees feel strained when I am cross-legged for too long and my left foot will fall asleep pretty often, too. Would love some expert advice 🙂

Hi Laura! I am so glad you liked the spray and books. I adore them! I alternate sitting on a few things. I have a cushion with a back that I sometimes sit on, and a pouf, but to be honest I am never that comfortable on it and I am not a huge legs crossed person either. My favorite is pushing two yoga blocks together and sitting on them hero pose with my knees bent and legs behind me at my sides. Does that make sense?
